Canva is a popular design tool that many Marvelous teachers use to create beautiful graphics, thumbnails, and marketing materials for their products.

As of December 2025, Canva deprecated their Button API (which previously powered direct integrations with platforms like Marvelous) and transitioned to their new Connect APIs. As a result, the direct Canva integration within Marvelous is currently unavailable. If you previously used the Canva button inside Marvelous and are now seeing an error, this is the reason.

We are evaluating options for restoring Canva integration using their updated APIs. In the meantime, here is how you can continue using Canva designs in your Marvelous products.

Step 1 — Create your design in Canva: Go to canva.com and create your design as usual (thumbnails, course graphics, social media images, etc.).

Step 2 — Download your design: Once your design is complete, click the "Share" button in the top right corner of Canva, then select "Download." Choose your preferred file format (PNG is recommended for most uses, JPG for photos).

Step 3 — Upload to Marvelous: In your Marvelous dashboard, navigate to the area where you want to use the image (product thumbnail, media library, lesson content, etc.) and upload the file you downloaded from Canva.

Recommended image sizes:

File format tips: PNG works best for graphics with text or transparent backgrounds. JPG is better for photographs and keeps file sizes smaller.
