How to Update Your Credit Card Details

How to update your card on Marvelous — for teachers updating their Marvelous subscription, or students updating the card for a subscription to a teacher's product.

Are you a teacher updating your own Marvelous subscription card?

  1. Log in to your Marvelous dashboard.

  2. Click Settings in the bottom left, then Account information. (Direct link: app.heymarvelous.com/settings)

  3. You'll see a box near the top showing your current card (e.g., "Subscribed with Visa ending in 1234").

  4. Click the pen (✏️) icon next to your card.

  5. Enter your new card details in the popup and click Confirm.

You'll see a confirmation that your payment method was successfully changed. The new card will be used for your next billing cycle.

For students: updating your card for a subscription

For Subscriptions (Stripe)
If you need to update your credit card, follow the steps below:

  1. Log into your Hey Marvelous account

  2. Click on the drop-down arrow next to your name on the upper right-hand corner, then select "My Settings".

3. Scroll down to Subscriptions and click on the button, "Update payment info".

4. Type in your updated card information and click Confirm.

Don't see the "Update payment info" button?

If you only see "View past purchases" instead of an "Update payment info" button, it means your subscription has been canceled (this can happen automatically when a payment fails).


To fix this, you'll need to repurchase the product using your new card. Don't worry — since the previous subscription is already canceled, you won't be double-charged.


When repurchasing, make sure to toggle OFF "Use existing card" so you can enter your new card details.

Click on Purchase subscription or Purchase product to enter your new card details.

PAYPAL

If a student needs to update their credit card, the student must log in to their PayPal account and update their details.



For Payment Plans

1. Click on your name on the top right side and then My Settings.

2. Scroll down to Subscriptions then click on View past purchases.

3. Click on the installment on the right next to your payment.

4. Click on Update Credit Card and type in your new card's information in the box that opens. Click on Confirm after.
