The Messaging app inside Marvelous now allows teachers to talk to students directly.

​Initiating a Chat
​
There are multiple ways you can message a member of your studio. The easiest is to click on the chat bubble on the top right-hand side when you switch to student view.

This will take you to all the chats that you have.

You can also click on their profile picture in the community feed and then click on Send message.

Another way is to go to your community's member list by clicking on Members.

Then click on their profile and click on Send message.

Using the Direct Message

You can search for a student you've had a conversation with by typing in their name in the search bar on the left.

You can also click on the + icon to initiate a chat or start a group chat.

If you click on Send a direct message you can search for a person, then on their name and then click on Send. This will allow you to initiate a conversation with them.

Selecting Create a new chatroom allows you to customize your chatroom to send out a group message. You can add any member to this chat room as well as upload a photo and name your chat group.

The chat function also allows you to delete as well as edit messages. This is done by clicking on the 3 dots on the right that appear when you hover your mouse over the message.
