This article will guide you through how to integrate your Mailgun SMTP with Marvelous Mail.
Note: before you can integrate Mailgun with Marvelous, you will need to have an account set up. You can do that here.
Connecting to your Mailgun SMTP to Marvelous Mail
Log in to both your Mailgun and Marvelous accounts in two separate browser windows.
In Mailgun, go to "Sending" in the left-hand navigation bar, and click "Domain Settings".
Note: In Mailgun make sure to switch off tracking by copying the following settings. Marvelous already tracks the clicks, opens, and unsubscribes. If those are left on, Mailgun will insert an additional link in your emails.
Click on "SMTP Credentials". If your SMTP credentials are empy, click "Add new SMTP user".
A grey pop-up will display stating that a new password has been generated. Click "Copy".
Go to your browser window where you've logged into Marvelous. Click "Settings" on the bottom left corner then click "Integrations".
Scroll down to the "Mailing" section and click "Email SMTP".
Complete the required details.
"From name" is who the email is coming from and the email address.
Server for Mailgun is: smtp.mailgun.org
Port: 587
Account username: This is your Mailgun username
Account password: Paste the password you just copied from Mailgun, in your Marvelous integrations page and add the login email address shown in your SMTP Credentials page.
Email Security: TLS.
Then click "Save".
