Email Preferences is a way for the studio to receive notifications when students make a purchase, register to an event as well as others. These are notifications for the studio and not the students.
Navigate to https://app.heymarvelous.com/settings/account by clicking on Settings on the bottom right.
Click on Account Information.
Scroll down and enable Email Preferences, this will send you an email once a student completes a purchase.
You can also be notified by email when a sale is made and students can receive a receipt through your payment processor.
