If you have one event that you’d like to live stream but also have people attend in person (such as in-studio), you need to set up two events.

This article will cover how to:

Step 1 – Set up your live-stream event

Make sure the title states clearly that this is an online event by placing that in your event name.

Step 2 – Set up your in-person event

Make it clear in the event name section that this event is face-to-face or in-studio and whether registration is required due limited spaces. For example, ‘IN-STUDIO: Hatha Yoga Flow {REGISTRATION REQUIRED}

Event Registration

You can make registration a requirement. This provides you with multiple options:

  • Hide registration info: This hides the number of places available and how many are left.

  • Limit number of registrants: From the drop-down menu you can choose how many spaces you have available in your in-person class.

  • Registration closes: From the drop-down menu you can choose a cut of point in which someone can register for the class. In the example below, people have until 15 minutes prior to the in-person class to register.

  • Close unregistration: From the drop-down menu you can choose a cut of point in which someone can unregister for the class. In the example below, people who have already registered can unregister for the event up until 15 minutes prior to the class.

Step 3 – Two events will appear on your calendar.

Step 4 – Checking in students who join you in person at your studio

Go to your calendar and click on your in-studio event, then click Manage.

As your students arrive at your student you can check them in by clicking on the three dots in their row next to ‘registered’ and mark their attendance.

Their attendance is automatically saved. Once you’ve finished checking in your students who are joining you in person. You can close this event. You begin the live stream via the online event that you created.
