How to Enable Notifications

This article shows students how to turn event notifications.

By enabling notifications students can receive emails regarding events that are about to start, mentions in Communities, and messages.

Note: When students create an account their email notification is switched on by default.

  1. After logging in to your account, click on your name on the top right. Then select "My account".

  2. Scroll down to Notification and click "Change".

  3. Switch Email Notifications On or Off. You can choose to be notified 30 minutes or an hour before an event starts or both. Select "Close". There will also be options to be notified whenever someone sends you a DM, a mention or updates about community groups that you belong to.

    In-app event notifications gives you a pop up notification to an event when you are logged in to your studio already.

Students receive the following emails from Hey Marvelous:

  • Event notification

  • Event registration

  • Waitlisting

    • When students register to a waitlist, they are notified after successfully registering as well as when a spot opens up.

  • Successful purchase

  • Failed payments

  • Community updates
